As a Cape Town photographer, I’m often reminded of how this city’s stunning landscapes create the perfect backdrop for unforgettable moments. Recently, I had the privilege of working with Leah and Jurgen, a wonderful couple who travelled all the way from Switzerland to enjoy a warm holiday in Cape Town. Their sense of adventure and love for unique experiences led them to book a lifestyle and couple photography session with me, featuring a classic black Cobra car.
Starting the Journey at Signal Hill
Our shoot began at the iconic Signal Hill, a location that offers breath-taking views of Cape Town and Table Mountain. The misty morning air added a touch of drama to the scene as Leah and Jurgen posed effortlessly beside their stunning Cobra. From Signal Hill, we made our way down to the golden shores of Camps Bay. With its palm-lined promenade and crystal-clear waters, this beach is a favourite for lifestyle and couple photography in Cape Town. Leah and Jurgen strolled hand-in-hand along the shoreline, their laughter and connection shining through in every shot. The relaxed beach setting allowed us to capture candid moments that truly reflected their personalities. The Cobra, parked just a few steps away, added a stylish touch to the dreamy beachside photos.
Scenic Views on Chapman’s Peak Drive
Our final destination was Chapman’s Peak Drive, one of the most scenic routes in the world. As we drove along the winding road, the ocean views became more breath-taking with every turn. We found a quiet spot on the side of the road, where the dramatic cliffs and azure waters provided a picture-perfect setting. Leah and Jurgen climbed back into the Cobra, and we captured more moments that blended their love for adventure with Cape Town’s natural beauty.
